On Sunday 12th November we held our very first Children’s Cooking Workshop with great success, thank you to the children for attending and showing such enthusiasm! We put a lot of thought, planning and reflection into the cooking activities and we are delighted to have such positive feedback.
The children really enjoyed making their very first pizza dough I would say we definitely had some junior master chefs amongst our attendees.
During the workshop the children created, pizza dough, bread rolls, cupcakes, shortcrust pastry and jam tarts. They achieved a lot in four hours and their parents were very surprised with the amount of creations they had to juggle in the car on the journey home.
We have had amazing feedback and requests for a similar workshop for the younger age group. Our next workshop is on December 17th. Please remember there is no need to stay, so drop the children off whilst you take a bit of time out to prepare for your own Christmas celebrations.

The Compass Club ran throughout October half term at Norman Court. The programme was very well attended with the children enjoying some exciting Halloween activities including making Halloween lanterns from recycled milk bottles, costume making and much, much more .
We are delighted to have continuous positive feedback from both parents and children which reassures us we are on the right path with the sessions and activities we are offering to the local community.
The highlights for me were the incredible number of children that made their first camp fire, baked their first cake or built their first den.
Our next holiday club is running at Christmas from Monday 18 December until and including Saturday 23 December. With specific activities tailored to different age groups, there is something for everyone. Our club offers a childcare solution for working parents, the chance to widen your child’s friendship group, or simply the opportunity for your child to enjoy some new and varied activities.
