Homeschooling at Norman Court through May
Home Education Enrichment Programme
Homeschooling at Norman Court
Wednesday 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th May from 9:30am-3:30pm
At Norman Court, we recognise all of the hard work, planning and passion that goes into the decision to home school your child. With this in mind, we have created the Home Education Enrichment Programme.
Your child will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of interactive and engaging classes to complement the work you do at home. From art to gymnastics to science, your child will work in groups to explore, create and wonder.
One of the many benefits of home schooling is the flexibility to custom design the education your child needs. This programme provides the flexibility for you to decide which classes your child would most enjoy. They can sign up for a single day or a whole term. It is entirely up to you.
Proposed Structure
Below is a proposed structure, however, we are open to suggestions and structuring to meet yours and your child’s needs. We’d intend to run our classes every Wednesday throughout May with all classes being taught by qualified teachers. Classes start at 9.30am so you can drop your child off, have some time to yourself, and come back at 3.30pm when the classes are finished.
Hot lunch available for £3 per child per day. Our on-site chef can cater for any dietary requirements.
The structure of the day is as follows:
Plan for the next 4 weeks:
Making:
- Wooden Trugs – woodwork
- Jumping Jacks – wood work
- Oil Burner – Copper and woodwork
Key Learning Points:
- Making and cutting out
- Assembly and Joining
