On Saturday 27th January Norman Court in West Tytherley prepared a traditional Burns Night Supper to the tune of bagpipes and a Ceilidh band.
In aid of George’s Trust
The Burns Night celebrations were in aid of George’s Trust. The Trust supports research and treatment of cancer in teenagers and young adults, local youth organisations in the Romsey and Winchester area and the Romsey Abbey Choir in providing choral scholarships.
It was a fun evening of Highland verse, songs, piping, and a delectable Scottish dinner put on by the Norman Court Kitchen Company. Stacey Willette, head chef said ‘The guests enjoyed a delicious three course meal and of course, the traditional Haggis was part of the feast. It was a perfect occasion to celebrate an evening steeped in age old tradition’.
